Reunion

Being responsible for two of my great friends reuniting after years of not being in touch is the greatest feeling. Kelli and Jutta used to ride together every week until lives became too busy and Kelli moved away. When her favorite horse in Vermont became for sale, she knew exactly who would become the best new owner! And then they lost touch...
I had to make their meeting happen. Dancer is so beautiful and kind horse soul and she is in the best hand she could be.

Lili's 7th Birthday

I can hardly believe that my god daughter just turned 7. It seems like yesterday that I was holding the little bundle of joy.I would have to agree with her mom that Lili grew up to be a sweet little girl; with a sweet tooth. Chocolate cake is still her favorite.
I am so glad I was able to be part of this little party.

Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast with Santa at Longwood Gardens has become a tradition over the years. Maya was a little baby the first time we all went together. Look at the girls now! Maya would not share her apple juice with Santa. Her "NO" was very convincing. She then left the table at the speed of lightning; skipped the line and climbed on Santa's lap before anyone even noticed! Lili was shy this year, but Santa will know what she wants because it is magic!

Lili's Birthday Bash

It is a tradition. Every year for Lili's birthday we go to the Phili ZOO. We decided to change it around a little and visited the Franklin Institute and an IMAG movie about underwater life.
Sadly most of the experiments in the Science for Kids sections were broken or malfunctioning. It was sad to see the kids excited and then nothing worked! Maya loved the forced air sail experiment which she used to blow her hair around instead of moving the little sail boat. Lili loved the heart model. I crawled through it twice. Too bad for being claustrophobic.

A few days later Lili had a pool party with a clown surprise. You have all heard the song Monkeys in the House by John Hatfield. He is an amazing performer and the kids absolutely adored his magic and singing.

Lili & Maya

The girls are growing up fast. I have not taken as many pictures of them this spring as I would have liked. They were so into posing for the camera the other day when I stopped by.
Their German visitors Liliane and Vincent weren't shy at all either.

Walking Teddy

Lili and Maya love Teddy. Must be because they are about the same age and size!
We met for a walk and I had to set the timer every two minutes so that the girls could take turns walking Teddy.

Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast with Santa has become a tradition. Lili and Maya really enjoyed telling Santa what was on their wish list. Maya wanted an airplane and Lili wanted a Barbie phone. She somehow managed to wish for what I got for her, second time this year! We all agreed it was magic.

Lili's Dance Class

Lili danced in a piece from Swan Lake and from Cats. The performance was very cute and she has been working on it at school since September.

Lili & John Paul

John Paul and his family visited from Germany and he and Lili became friends instantly. It was so great to see them after so many years.
